Say hello to Luna Piombanti, Playboy Germany’s Playmate of the Month for September 2025, and the first Iranian Playmate in Playboy Germany’s history.
Shot by photographer Ana Dias under the blazing Portuguese sun, Luna brought effortless energy both on the sand and while chilling on a boat. With yellow binoculars in hand and a parasol shading her, she owned the coastline and turned the heat all the way up.
“The photoshoot with Ana was amazing! The experience was incredible, and working with her was a true pleasure,” she shares.
But Luna’s story is about much more than a beautiful body or a summer photoshoot under the sun. It is a story about freedom.
Born in the ancient and historic city of Yazd, Iran (and now based in Switzerland), Luna grew up in a country where women’s bodies, appearance and behaviour are constantly subject to scrutiny and control. Long before she became a model and before Playboy, Luna experienced what it meant to live under restrictions that followed women into almost every part of their daily lives.
For Luna, freedom was never something abstract. It was something she had to fight to experience.
“Posing nude makes me feel liberated and confident. It’s a form of artistic expression that allows me to embrace and celebrate my body.”
Off set, Luna’s just as vibrant. She paints, plays piano, walks her dogs, and takes time to breathe.
“Looking back and seeing how far I’ve come makes me really happy,” she says.
