Ten years ago, I achieved a life-changing milestone by winning Deutschland sucht den Superstar (DSDS), and now I’m celebrating another exciting chapter as a Playboy cover star. While both moments were monumental, the emotions they brought were entirely different. Winning DSDS left me in complete shock—I can barely remember the moment. In contrast, my Playboy shoot was an empowering experience. It was relaxed, joyful, and an opportunity to embrace and celebrate my beauty, something I wouldn’t have felt capable of doing a decade ago.At 25, I was full of insecurities and often doubted my place among the stunning women I saw in magazines. Back then, stepping on stage wasn’t just about hitting the right notes—it was also about battling the fear of seeing concert photos I might feel ashamed of later. Over the past decade, I’ve grown into myself, gained confidence, and learned to embrace my identity as a woman. Today, I advocate for self-acceptance and believe that true beauty lies in our uniqueness. Through my Playboy photos, I want to send the message that beauty isn’t defined by size, shape, or comparison to others—it’s about being unapologetically yourself.
Winning DSDS in its 11th season was like living a dream. I was so passionate about pursuing my goals that I didn’t even consider failure as an option. At the time, I had just moved to Germany, didn’t speak the language, and had never watched the show. That naivety, combined with an unrelenting drive, helped me succeed.
After my win, my career accelerated rapidly. Within a week, I recorded my debut album and released my second single shortly after. However, I faced challenges along the way, including the unexpected cancellation of most tour dates, which left me navigating public disappointment and criticism I wasn’t prepared for. As an artist, I wasn’t informed of the logistics behind these decisions, which made the situation even more difficult.
Through it all, I’ve stayed resilient and true to myself, even during personal challenges. After a seven-year relationship that ended shortly after marriage, I held onto my belief in love. Today, I’m happily in a supportive relationship with someone who encouraged me to take the leap with Playboy and embrace this new chapter in my life.
In 2023, I stepped into uncharted territory by joining the reality show Kampf der Realitystars. It was a thrilling experience to be filmed 24/7—a first for me—and it opened my eyes to new opportunities. While I’m open to participating in similar projects in the future, my heart remains in music. During the show, my single “3/4 Days” gained significant exposure on RTL2, which was a proud moment for me. I’m currently working on new musical projects and can’t wait to share my latest work with the world.
